I'm so happy to have you here! Hi, hello, welcome!

My name is Jo, I am the creator of Bubbles by Nature- a business built on the idea of making soap and skincare products using nature's ingredients, traditional methods, and simple formulations.

I am the kind of woman who loves to make things from scratch. I love creating something for the special people in my life, especially when it involves getting back to basics. I have dabbled in making sourdough bread, brewing kombucha, growing vegetables and herbs, making fresh pasta and a never-ending list of crafty creations. None of them really stuck very well. Turns out I don't like drinking kombucha, I kill more plants than I grow and I perpetually forget to feed my sourdough starters!

Soap, on the other hand, has always sparked a fascination in me. It is a mix of chemistry and functional art- it's pretty, it smells good and you get to wash yourself with it! This is my thing.

After years of making my own soap and admiring the beautiful creations of other makers, I found myself increasingly drawn to creating products using simpler, more natural ingredients and traditional methods. I wanted to create soaps that stayed true to the idea of natural skincare — products made with essential oils, botanicals, natural colourants, and carefully chosen oils and butters. Simple, beautiful and a pleasure to use.

As a busy mum and massage therapist, I became increasingly aware of how many people were searching for uncomplicated products that felt kind to their skin. Friends and family who tried my soaps often told me they found them gentler, less drying, and more comfortable to use than many products they had tried before. I was so excited by their feedback, I knew I wanted to share these products with others too.

Living in rural Queensland has also shaped the heart of this business. Life on the land brings a quiet appreciation for simplicity and a deeper awareness of the importance of caring for the environment around us. Wherever possible, packaging is kept plastic-free, ingredients are thoughtfully chosen, and products are made in small batches with gentle, everyday use in mind.

So, here I am, in my own little corner of the internet, sharing my love of natural skincare with you. My hope is that these products bring a little simplicity, calm, and comfort to you and your loved ones too.
